Day-Wise Itinerary

Program:
Arrive at Delhi International Airport, where you will be met and assisted. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Overnight: Delhi

Travel: Overnight train from Delhi to Allahabad

Highlights:
• Free time in Delhi
• Overnight rail journey

Program:
The day is free for relaxation or optional sightseeing in Delhi.
In the evening, transfer to the railway station to board the overnight train to Allahabad.

Sailing Distance: Approx. 25–30 km (river)
Sailing Time: Afternoon to evening

Program:
Arrive in Allahabad (Prayagraj) and transfer to hotel for wash and change.
Later proceed to Kilaghat, the starting point of the sailing journey, home to a fort built by Emperor Akbar.
Visit the sacred Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati merge.
Set sail eastward on the River Ganges toward Varanasi.
Arrive at Lakhiya in the evening and camp on the riverbank or island.

Program:
Begin a full-day sail toward Usmanpur. Due to the natural bends and curves of the Ganges, river distance is longer than road distance, adding adventure to the journey.
Arrive at Usmanpur by evening and camp along the riverbank or island.

Program:
Continue sailing downstream toward Murdaghat, passing rural river life, farmlands, and ghats.
Arrive by evening and set up camp along the riverbank.

Overnight: Riverside camping at Murdaghat

Sailing Time:
• Murdaghat – Vindhyachal: Approx. 4 hrs
• Vindhyachal – camping spot near Mirzapur: Approx. 4 hrs

Highlights:
• Vindhyachal – Shakti Peetha
• Temple of Goddess Kali
• Island halt on the Ganges

Program:
Sail toward Mirzapur, stopping at Vindhyachal, one of the most important Shakti pilgrimage sites in India.
Visit the temple dedicated to Goddess Kali.
Resume sailing and stop at a nearby island or riverbank for overnight camping.

Sailing Time: Full day sailing

Program:
Sail the final stretch toward Varanasi.
En route, visit the massive Chunar Fort, a strategic medieval stronghold, followed by Ramnagar Fort, a 17th-century fort housing an intriguing museum.
Finish sailing at Lanka Ghat, the first ghat of Varanasi.
Drive to hotel for check-in.

Distance & Time:
• Varanasi – Sarnath: 10 km | Approx. 30 mins

Highlights:
• Sunrise boat ride on River Ganges
• Kashi Vishwanath (Golden Temple) area
• Sarnath – Buddha’s first sermon site

Program:
Early morning boat cruise on the Ganges, witnessing sunrise rituals and historic ghats.
Later, walk through the narrow lanes of Varanasi and visit the area around Kashi Vishwanath (Golden Temple).
In the afternoon, visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon, exploring the sacred ruins and monuments.
