5. Domain Protection & Commercial Nature
- VisitDalaiLama.com is a commercial tourism brand, not a religious entity and does not imply affiliation ,endorsement ,or representation ( protected under Indian Trade Marks Act Section 30)
- The name is thematic and descriptive of cultural/spiritual destinations and educational brand name operated by White Pigeon Holidays LLP
- The domain name is legally owned by White Pigeon Holidays LLP.
- We are not owned by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, his office, any monastery, Buddhist institution, or spiritual lineage — past, present, or future.
- The name “Dalai Lama” here is used only as a descriptive cultural-geographic reference to Buddhist heritage routes in India and nearby regions.
- No part of our content, services, or marketing claims any special access, endorsement, or representation of His Holiness or any religious authority.
- Unauthorized use of our domain or brand identity in any misleading or unofficial manner including the third parties is prohibited and will result in legal action.
- We reserve full legal rights to protect the domain name, branding, and platform identity against misuse, imitation, or defamation.
6. Scope of Tourism Services
White Pigeon Holidays LLP / VisitDalaiLama.com offers:
- Culturally respectful tours & retreats
- Educational circuits across Buddhist heritage sites
We do not offer:
- Access to His Holiness
- Reserved seating at public teachings
- Private blessings or personal meetings
7. Brochure, Website & Promotional Content
While we strive for accuracy, itineraries, prices, hotel images, and services mentioned on brochures or websites are indicative and subject to change. All information provided on our website, brochures, or social media is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the publication date.VisitDalaiLama.com/White Pigeon Holidays LLP is not liable for any typographical errors, omissions, or updates that occur after the booking. Any significant change will be communicated prior to travel.
8. Booking & Refund Policy
- 31+ days before departure – 100% refund
- 15–30 days – 75% refund
- < 15 days – No refund
B. Non-Refundable Components:
- Visa fees, taxes, and processing charges once paid are strictly non-refundable.
- Flight tickets (where issued) are subject to airline refund policies and are often non-refundable/non-transferable.
C. Refund Process & Credit Notes:
- In the event of cancellations due to reasons beyond our control (including visa rejections, airline shutdowns, natural calamities, or public authority orders), VistDalailama.com will endeavour to recover the paid amount from third-party vendors on your behalf as soon as possible.
- However, where a refund is not possible, a credit note of equivalent value (minus non-recoverable charges) will be issued for use on future bookings with White Pigeon Holidays LLP.
- Credit notes are valid for 06 months from the date of issue. They are not transferable and cannot be encashed.
9. Force Majeure & Schedule Changes
We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by:
- Government restrictions, natural disasters, political unrest or restrictions
- Monastery closures or schedule changes
- Public teaching postponements
VisitDalaiLama.com / White Pigeon Holidays LLP shall not be liable for any delay, change, or cancellation of travel services due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to:
- Natural calamities (earthquake, flood, storm)
- Epidemics, pandemics, or health emergencies
- Strikes, war, riots, government restrictions
- Airline, hotel, or embassy shutdowns
- Travel advisories / Weather disruptions
- Public teaching changes or monastery closures
- In such cases:
- VisitDalaiLama.com / White Pigeon Holidays LLP will attempt to recover your funds from service providers or negotiate a future credit note where possible.
- Cash refunds cannot be guaranteed for amounts already remitted to suppliers or services already utilized . Travellers are advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance as White Pigeon Holidays LLP is not liable for costs beyond its control ( like personal needs, including coverage for medical issues and force majeure scenarios).
Changes & Amendments
Changes to travel plans are subject to availability and may attract additional charges.
The Company reserves the right to modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances or operational reasons.
10. Airlines, Flights & Baggage
VisitDalaiLama.com/White Pigeon Holidays LLP does not control airline schedules, and flights may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled. Frequent flyer miles or special requests (seating, meals, and baggage) must be made directly with the airline. Any changes in flight fare, airport taxes, or fuel surcharges are to be borne by the customer, unless already ticketed or demanded by airlines directly. Air travel is subject to airline terms and international aviation rules. The Company is not liable for flight delays, rescheduling, baggage loss or damage. Any grievances related to air travel must be addressed directly with the airline.

11 . Seatbelt Disclaimer
In many Domestic and international destinations, seatbelts may not be available due to local practices. Customers are advised to use seatbelts wherever provided.
The Company is not liable for any injury caused due to the absence or non-usage of seatbelts
12. Shopping & Discretionary Services
VisitDalaiLama.com/White Pigeon Holidays LLP does not promote or guarantee any product or outlet visited during the tour. Shopping, leisure activities, and optional excursions undertaken by customers are done entirely at their own discretion and risk.
13. Medical Fitness & Travel Disclaimer
Customers must ensure they are medically fit to travel.
The Company is not liable for any health-related issues arising prior or during the tour and in case of non-travel , no refund would be issued.
14. Images & Content Use
All media used is:
- By booking with VisitDalailama.com, you grant us the right to use any images or videos taken of you during the trip for promotional purposes (website, social media, advertising), unless explicitly denied in writing prior to departure.
- Sourced under Creative Commons / public domain
- Used for editorial ,educational and commercial purposes only

- We do not sell your data
- Data is shared only with suppliers ( Hotels / Airlines / Transport and guides wherever necessary ) for service fulfilment

16. Customer Obligations
We acknowledge that the term “Dalai Lama” refers to a respected global spiritual leader.

Visitors and customers are expected to fully understand and accept this distinction prior to engaging with our content, communications, or services. If a visitor assumes otherwise despite our repeated disclaimers, such assumption is their own responsibility and cannot be used as a basis for complaint, claim, or legal action against us. It is customers responsibility to understand that we are NOT affiliated by His Holiness Dalai Lama’s or his offices and any monasteries.

- You must follow all local laws, customs, and instructions of guides during the trip.
- You must possess valid travel documents (passport with minimum six months validity with at least 02 blank pages, visas, vaccination, insurance, etc.).
- You are solely responsible for checking airline baggage rules, travel restrictions, and destination guidelines.
- Unruly, disrespectful, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the tour without refund towards the guests or local residents of the country. You agree to comply with the laws of the destination country.
17. Responsibility of All Visitors
This applies to all users of our website, social media, and services, whether or not they purchase program or services from us or just visiting the website for information by accepting our disclaimers.

- You travel voluntarily, with awareness of potential cultural, weather, and political uncertainties.
- I agree to the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Disclaimers and Refund Policy
- I accept the risks of spiritual and cultural travel, and I waive any legal claim related to delays, cancellations, or access limitations.
23. Arbitration & Governing Law
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions, the use of this website, or any services provided by VisitDalaiLama.com shall be resolved exclusively through arbitration in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended from time to time.
The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be New Delhi, India. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in the English language.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and subject to the arbitration clause above, the courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
